Quien bien te quiere te hará llorar

He/she who truly loves you will make you cry

Quien se casa por amor, ha de vivir con dolor

He who marries for love, will have to live with the pain

Saber es poder

Knowledge is power

Saber y no recordar, es lo mismo que ignorar

Knowing and not remembering is the same as not knowing at all

Salud, dinero y bien vino, e irme a la gloria de camino

Health, money and good wine, and to glory on the way

Salud para mí, trabajo para mi marido

Health for me and work for my husband
Se dice el pecado, pero no el pecador Tell about the sin but not the sinner (i.e. be discreet with people's secrets)

Se olvida una buena acción, y no un buen bofetón

A good deed is forgotten but a good slap is not

Being poor and rich in one day is the miracle of the holy lottery

Si a la abeja ves beber, muy pronto verás llover

If you see the bee drinking, it will rain soon

If you live a happy life, you live a rich life

Always ask for more, so that they don't give you less
