Gallén was born in 1972 in Linares, Jaén, and has been a celebrated guitarist since he started playing from a very early age. He studied in several conservatories, e.g. Linares, Jaén, Córdoba, Madrid and Granada. He also studied music and the guitar in Austria and Germany, notably gaining 1st prize at the Markneukirchen International Competition. He has won a whole host of top level competitions over the years, and his performances have been acclaimed throughout Europe, the Americas, and the Far East. He is now Professor at the University of Extremadura in central Spain. |

Gallén nació en 1972 en Linares, Jaén, y ha sido un guitarrista celebrado desde que empezó a tocar de edad muy temprana. Estudió en varios conservatorios, por ejemplo, Linares, Jaén, Córdoba, Madrid y Granada. También estudió música y la guitarra en Austria y Alemania, en particular, ganando el primer premio en el Concurso Internacional de Markneukirchen. Ha ganado un montón de concursos de alto nivel en los últimos años, y sus espectáculos han sido aclamados en toda Europa, las Américas y el Lejano Oriente. Actualmente es profesor en la Universidad de Extremadura, en el centro de España.
